I started off with a mimosa and a bowl of raspberries while getting my hair and makeup done by a wonderful woman.
No details were overlooked and while I came prepared with a wardrobe, I kind of wish I hadn't so I could have experimented with her expansive wardrobe.
Once that was complete, it was just me and Nerissa, who guided me through many body positions, making sure I got the right angle and relaxed my face.

Her encouragement helped me get over feeling nervous, & her enthusiasm was absolutely infectious.
I loved that Nerissa showed me images on her camera throughout the photoshoot because it gave us more ideas for poses, & confidence for me.
Truly, she made me feel so much more comfortable and playful in front of the camera for my first shoot, and so many of the other folks being photographed at our group photo shoot said the same thing!
